Hi Plex,
Thanks a lot.
Grid preview, good job, nice colours, don't be offended, here are some overall grid remarks; I changed settings to JUNO-G with SRX-09 and loaded my own user JGL-file:
- I miss you're name and logo, be proud of it !
- What happend to the old Xlib screen (grid) teasers on you're website. I like them too ?
- Splitting screens Horz/Vert great !
- How about load, save and attach buttons ?
- Wavetables, all tabs, it's shows still Fantom-X, in this case should be Juno-G because I changed the settings.
- User, tab Performance, I'm missing column GM Patch.
- User, tab Performance, why not a mouse-over or expanding "+"sign to show which patch, GM, samples a.s.o. are used in the performance ?
- User, tab Patch, when the wavegroup is SAMP i'm missing column PRST.
- How about doublleclick a column and all data will be sorted A-Z with the clicked column as primary index ?
Yep, you're project is/will be great.
Best regards,
Adje.

Hi Adje,
thanks for your testing and ideas. The application Mainframe is already finished but it is easier to develop in smaller pieces. Everything looks very cool ... With the mainframe you can open as much projects (xlb-files) as you want to and every project is splitable. From there you can drag and drop waves from the target synth to the destination synth. A lot of things will not work if the grid has no focus, so be sure to click once into the grid. If Press-Alt and Insert you get a new initialized patch or so. If you press delete the patch or so will be initialized and if you press ALT + Delete you delete it. Without using the ALT-Key XLib is in a safe mode. There are a lot of hidden features: - right click on the column header and then enable the first No.-Column to be visible. Now you can sort to any column, but then you can not move or copy. - right click on the user tab and split it. If you press the ALT-Key while dragging one patch from user to card then it will be moved. With Alt pressed you can sort everything within the same grid. - F5 updates the grid if it has focus - Enter will send MIDI data of the selected rows to the temporary area of the synth - Alt + Enter will get MIDI data to the selected rows from temporary area of the synth - 1 Button in the Mainframe will send it to save data permanently Just click around ... A special feature is if you mark a row of names and you enter for example Patch %n, it will result in mass renaming Patch 1, Patch 2, Patch 3 ... or if you are in Rhythm Key Window and rename a row with %1 (%2,%3%4) it will be replaced with the name of the wave of tone 1 (2,3,4). It spares a lot of time. >>How about load, save and attach buttons ? Is on the way ;-) >> Tab Performance, I'm missing column GM Patch. It's a good idea. I will do so. >> Tab Patch, when the wavegroup is SAMP i'm missing column PRST. I left it out because if there is no other reference then there is always a reference to Preset. So if all checkboxes are unchecked it always refers to preset. >> I loaded my own user JGL-file: Before you load your jgl you have to set the Juno-G. After loading the jgl you have to press F5 (activate grid) to see the changes in Patches or Rhythm Keys. What XLib will never be is a librarian to handle thousands of patches within one project. Although it is possible to load big files you have to wait a long time if all dependencies are checked. I hope I will bring XLib so far that is possible to move everything around without breaking references. So far so good ... Best wishes Morten |

Hi Morten
looks good. I did find that some things, like when you build the wave table list, take a while and you should show a splash screen asking the user to wait, and clear it when you are finished. After you split, how do you bring them back together again? Is it Rebalance? You have Horizontal and Vertical splits around the wrong way. No Midi yet? All the best Royce |

Hello Royce, thank you for evaluating the preview. There are missing a lot of things. You get an idea with next demo. It will have nearly all features of the initial version of Xlib 1.0.0.

Bidding for and hosting the Olympics successfully is, perhaps, the ultimate glory for a city. However, before transforming the dream into reality, the benefits and drawbacks of bidding for the Olympics should be weighed carefully. Hosting the Olympics surely would bring about much gain to a city. Boom of the local economy, more jobs, and the possibility of generating income all sound extremely attractive to the municipal government. At the same time, better infrastructure, cleaner environment, enjoying the spectacular game with hundreds of sports elites and entertainment stars, and the opportunity of contacting people from all over the world also seem exciting to the citizens. Besides, the bidding will definitely promote the patriotic emotion and pride, as well as the moral behavior in local people. In most cases, bidding for the Olympics is well supported by both the public and the central government. Unfortunately, this is not the entire view of the pretty picture. If looking from another angle, the Olympic bid might bring about some side-effects to a city. wow power leveling, Besides, if talking about the economic benefit, it should not be forgotten that a quick boosting may lead to bubble growth, which may easily crash. If not well managed and organized, the big event may not be so profitable, and the new facilities may be forever empty after the games. Yes, there have been cases that host cities ended up with enormous debts. Finally, let’s think about the low-income groups in the city. What will they get from the Olympics bidding? More tax, more fees, more expensive property prices, and higher cost of living. These definitely are not good news for them. To bid or not to, this is a question. It is up to the choice of the municipal government, and the local public. After the decision, what they can do is to make the most of the benefit, and reduce the drawbacks to the least. Our success in the 27th Olympic Games is far beyond sports. First, the glory greatly enhances the international prestige of China. Through TV, people all over the world know more about New China, especially the dramatic progress made in the past two decades. Next, it greatly boosts the morale of our people. Billions of Chinese witnessed how the former ugly ducklings hecame China with the force of an avalanche. The successful stories or the Olymplc Medalists fuel the ambition of millions of Chinese youth. Finally, It heightens our selfconfidence and nationalism. China, a weak nation in sports in the past, has rapidly risen up and become one of the sports giants. Why couldn't she be a modernized China soon? What is more, the success has laid a firm foundation for Beijing to host the 2008 Olympic Games. Olympics |

When scientists scan the global horizon, over-fishing, loss of species habitat, water shortage, climate change, and invasive① species seem to be the biggest threats to the Earth.
What will our world be like in 2050? last chaos gold Population decrease and increase There are two features in the growth of world population. First, the annual increase in population in 15 European countries, in the past few years, has been only 300,000. The United Nations last chaos money estimates that by 2050, the population of European countries will decrease from the current 0.72 billion to 0.63 billion. Second, the population in developing countries is growing rapidly. Over the past 50 years, the rate of increase in population has been fastest in the least developed countries. By 2050, the population of Africa is expected to reach 1.8 billion, 0.9 billion more than its current population. Global warming buy last chaos gold A recent research report indicates that it is quite possible that the Earth’s temperature is rising well above the previous estimate. Such an result would have severe consequences. A research team from the University of Colorado used satellite data to estimate that the ice sheet will lose up to 48 cubic miles by 2050. Ice shelves in the Antarctic will have decreased by more than 7,200 square miles in the next four decades. last chaos money Water shortage Africa’s rivers face dramatic change that will leave a quarter of the continent severely short of water by the middle of the century. last chaos gold “In those areas where there is already a water shortage, it’s going to have a devastating② effect,” the study says. “If you’re already walking 5 km to the nearest stream to get water, by 2050, it’s going to mean walking 30 km or moving your whole household closer to the water source.” Four wheels good, four wheels bad The car has transformed the lives of people, but the planet is paying too high a price. Today there are 620 million private cars worldwide, to say nothing of buses, vans and lorries. With current growth trends, that number is expected to reach a staggering③ three billion cars worldwide by 2050. If we continue to burn fossil fuels at current rates, levels of carbon dioxide④ in the atmosphere will reach 550 ppm (parts per million) by around 2050. Keep glucose goods close at hand. If you are traveling by plane, pack your medications, insulin,

If you don't already have one, get a medical ID bracelet or necklace that alerts people that you have Diabetes and provides a number to call in an emergency. wow power leveling Pack a snack. Wherever you go, take a totable snack like an apple, an energy bar, a banana, raisins, or cheese and crackers in case your blood sugar starts to dip when you don't have immediate access to your food. If you sample your snacks en route, replenish your supplies as soon as you can. Wow gold Mind your meals. If you're flying or taking an extended trip by rail, call the carrier a few days before you depart and ask what special meals they have available for people with Diabetes or heart disease (there may be more than one option to choose from). World of warcraft gold When you're en route, wait for meal service to actually begin before you take your pre-meal insulin to make sure you don't experience low blood sugar in the event that service is unexpectedly slowed or canceled. When traveling by car, try to stick to your regular mealtime schedule to keep your blood sugar stable. Sro Gold If that's not possible, carry snacks along with you and be alert to symptoms of low blood sugar, such as nervousness, sweating, and crankiness. If you feel a hypoglycemic episode coming on, pull over immediately and take sugar pill or have something to eat. Wait at least 10 to 15 minutes for the feeling to pass before continuing Sro Gold Get in the zone. Traveling across different time zones can throw your schedule completely off, but you can compensate for the disruption if you're careful. When adding hours to your day by traveling west, you may need to take more insulin. When losing hours traveling east, you may need less. Check with your doctor for specific recommendations. As for timing your injections and meals, keep your watch set to your Home time as you travel to your destination, then switch your watch -- and your schedule -- to the local time the morning after you arrive. |

Grandma got Grandpa out of bed and helped him to the kitchen for breakfast. After his meal, she led him to his armchair in the living room where he would rest while she cleaned the dishes. Every so often, she would check to see if he needed anything. This was their daily routine after Grandpa’s latest stroke. Although once a very active man, his severely damaged left arm, difficulty walking and slurred speech now kept him housebound. For nearly a year he hadn’t even been to church or to visit family. Grandpa filled his hours with television. He watched the news and game shows while Grandma went about her day. They made a pact—he was not to leave his chair or his bed without her assistance. adamant about their taking care of themselves and living independently. The Brooklyn brownstone had been their first home and held wonderful memories. They weren’t ready to leave it behind anytime soon. Immigrants from Ireland, they met and married in America. Grandma was friendly, outgoing and unselfish; Grandpa was reserved, a man devoted to his family. But he wasn’t big on giving gifts. While he wouldn’t think twice about giving my grandma the shirt off his back, he subscribed to the belief that if you treated your wife well throughout the year, presents weren’t necessary; so he rarely purchased gifts for her. This had been a sore point in the early days of their marriage. But as years passed, Grandma realized what a good man he was. And, after all, anything she wanted she was free to buy herself. chair. “I’m going to take a shower now.” She handed him the television remote. “If you need anything, I’ll be back in a little while.” After her shower, she glanced towards the back of Grandpa’s recliner but noticed that his cane was not leaning in its usual spot. Sensing something odd, she walked toward the recliner. He was gone. The closet door stood open and his hat and overcoat were missing. Fear ran down her spine. Grandma threw a coat over her bathrobe and ran outside. He couldn’t have gotten far; he could barely walk on his own. safely would be difficult for people who were steady on their feet, much less someone in Grandpa’s condition. Where could he be? As she stood alone on the street corner, guilt flooded her. Just then, Grandpa walked around the bend of the corner. Head bowed, eyes focused on the sidewalk, he took small, cautious steps. His overcoat barely draped the shoulder of his bad arm; his cane and a package filled his good arm. “I only left you alone for a short while. What did you need so badly that couldn’t wait? I was so worried about you! What on earth was so important?” Confused and curious, she reached into the brown bag. Before Grandpa had a chance to explain, she pulled out a heart -shaped box. “It’s Valentine’s Day,” Grandpa explained. “I thought you might like a box of chocolates.” A gift? All this worry for . . . candy? “I haven’t bought you a gift in a long, long time.” His stroke-impaired words warmed the winter wind. She shook her head slowly. There was a man in Ireland once who was called Malcolm Harper. The man was a right good man, and he had a goodly share of this world's goods. He had a wife, but no family. What did Malcolm hear but that a soothsayer had come home to the place, and as the man was a right good man, he wished that the soothsayer might come near them. Whether it was that he was invited or that he came of himself, the soothsayer came to the house of Malcolm. Just out of the chat. And the soothsayer went forth out of the house and he was not long outside when he returned. "Well," said the soothsayer, "I saw in my second sight that it is on account of a daughter of yours that the greatest amount of blood shall be shed that has ever been shed in Erin since time and race began. And the three most famous heroes that ever were found will lose their heads on her account." After a time a daughter was born to Malcolm, he did not allow a living being to come to his house, only himself and the nurse. He asked this woman, "Will you yourself bring up the child to keep her in hiding far away where eye will not see a sight of her nor ear hear a word about her?" Deirdre and her foster-mother dwelt in the bothy mid the hills without the knowledge or the suspicion of any living person about them and without anything occurring, until Deirdre was sixteen years of age. Deirdre grew like the white sapling, straight and trim as the rash on the moss. She was the creature of fairest form, of loveliest aspect, and of gentlest nature that existed between earth and heaven in all Ireland--whatever colour of hue she had before, there was nobody that looked into her face but she would blush fiery red over it. "Well," said the hunter, "I may do that--keep my mouth shut and my tongue quiet, since I came to the house and received hospitality from you; but by the hand of thy father and grandfather, and by your own two hands, if some other of the people of the world saw this beauteous creature you have here hid away, they would not long leave her with you, I swear." "What men are these you refer to?" said Deirdre. "Well, I will tell you, young woman," said the hunter. This is the next "They are Naois, son of Uisnech, and Allen and Arden his two brothers." "Why, the aspect and form of the men when seen are these," said the hunter: "they have the colour of the raven on their hair, their skin like swan on the wave in whiteness, and their cheeks as the blood of the brindled red calf, and their speed and their leap are those of the salmon of the torrent and the deer of the grey mountain side. And Naois is head and shoulders over the rest of the people of Erin." "However they are," said the nurse, "be you off from here and take another road. And, King of Light and Sun! in good sooth and certainty, little are my thanks for yourself or for her that let you in!" The hunter went away, and went straight to the palace of King Connachar. He sent word in to the king that he wished to speak to him if he pleased. The king answered the message and came out to speak to the man. "What is the reason of your journey?" said the king to the hunter. Just out of the chat. The Story of Deirdre |

A Coke and a Smile I know now that the man who sat with me on the old wooden stairs that hot summer night over thirty-five years ago was not a tall man. But to a five-year-old, he was a giant. We sat side by side, watching the sun go down behind the old Texaco service station across the busy street. A street that I was never allowed to cross unless accompanied by an adult, or at the very least, an older sibling. (wow power leveling) " Yes," was my reply." How would you like to run over to the gas station there and get yourself a bottle of Coke?" I couldn't believe my ears. Had I heard right? Was he talking to me? On my family's modest income, Coke was not a part of our budget or diet. A few tantalizing sips was all I had ever had, and certainly never my own bottle. " Okay," I replied shyly, already wondering how I would get across the street. Surely Grampy was going to come with me. Grampy stretched his long leg out straight and reached his huge hand deep into the pocket. I could hear the familiar jangling of the loose change he always carried. Opening his fist, he exposed a mound of silver coins. There must have been a million dollars there. He instructed me to pick out a dime. After he deposited the rest of the change back into his pocket, he stood up. World of warcraft Power Leveling " Okay," he said, helping me down the stairs and to the curb, " I'm going to stay here and keep an ear out for the babies. I'll tell you when it's safe to cross. You go over to the Coke machine, get your Coke and come back out. Wait for me to tell you when it's safe to cross back." Grampy held my hand tightly. Together we looked up the street and down, and back up again. He stepped off the curb and told me it was safe to cross. He let go of my hand and I ran. I ran faster than I had ever run before. The street seemed wide. I wondered if I would make it to the other side. Reaching the other side, I turned to find Grampy. There he was, standing exactly where I had left him, smiling proudly. I waved. " Go on, hurry up," he yelled. cd keys The big old monster greedily accepted my dime, and I heard the bottles shift. On tiptoes I reached up and opened the heavy door. There they were: one neat row of thick green bottles, necks staring directly at me, and ice cold from the refrigeration. I held the door open with my shoulder and grabbed one. With a quick yank, I pulled it free from its bondage. Another one immediately took its place. The bottle was cold in my sweaty hands. I will never forget the feeling of the cool glass on my skin. With two hands, I positioned the bottleneck under the heavy brass opener that was bolted to the wall. The cap dropped into an old wooden box, and I reached in to retrieve it. I was cold and bent in the middle, but I knew I needed to have this souvenir. Coke in hand, I proudly marched back out into the early evening dusk. Grampy was waiting patiently. He smiled. wow power level," Stop right there," he yelled. One or two cars sped by me, and once again, Grampy stepped off the curb." Come on, now," he said, " run." I did. Cool brown foam sprayed my hands." Don't ever do that alone," he warned.I held the Coke bottle tightly, fearful he would make me pour it into a cup, ruining this dream come true. He didn't. One long swallow of the cold beverage cooled my sweating body. I don't think I ever felt so proud. |
